Getting my family to the professsional photographer’s studio is much like hearding cats. Someone is inevitably hungry, tired, sporting a facial laceration, or some combination of these.
One time, we actually did make it without messing up our matching outfits and all in a good mood, only to be told we had to wait about 45 minutes due to the family before us was running late. By the time it was our turn, I was emotionally wiped out.
Then I began thinking about setting up my own home studio to capture those times when my young daughters are being magically precious.
I am not a professional photographer. In fact, I did not even own a camera until I was an adult because I always left the picture taking up to someone else. I am just a Mom who occasionally takes a good picture of her family.
The one thing that I have found that makes a big difference in taking pictures is lighting.
On Monday night, I am going to share with you what I have learned about home studio lighting and photography. We will be using the lighting kit by PhotoBasics by Westcott with the 3 lights.
We hope you will join us March 15th at 9:30pm EST on unKit Live! on Sudie TV
