We welcome back the fabulous May Flaum, our guest blogger this week.
“Bug Art”
Who said bugs can’t be on a vintage inspired paper? I used this beautiful paper from Webster’s pages as well as it’s coordinating ribbon to make this page. I mounted the photos on kraft cardstock (photo sizes 4 x 5 (top 2) and 3 x 5) and then cut it out around the edges leaving just a hint of the kraft color. I added in journaling then put it all onto foam dots and placed on my page. From there some stitched on fabric ribbon, buttons, a stamped image, and few more details more and my page was complete!
Supplies:
Websters Pages Patterned paper, vintage sparkler, letter stickers, fabric ribbon; Jenni Bowlin butterflies; Glitz Designs fleur de lis rub-ons; Jillibean Soup green large button; the Girls Paperie large pink button;www.catslifepress.com stamp; Prima flower; Tim Holtz Distress ink; unknown felt flower
We just love May’s layout! All the wonderful details are amazing! Who says you cannot use Vintage with bugs? Not us.
Thanks May for sharing this lovely layout with us.
