Our roving reporter, Debby Lewis, checked in with some highlights from her time searching the aisles for craft and scrapbooking news.

Here is what Debby wants us all to know about the show.

CHA has been a blast. Of course the best part was seeing old friends and making new. I’ve run across nothing but generous spirits and those with a passion for our craft. Although I felt like the convention was smaller it afforded better customer service. It was wonderful to see our manufacturers laughing and enjoying what they were doing.

You need to check out ProvoCraft to see all things NEW that are going to be hitting the market especially the new Cuttlebug.

For me, the trends were vintage, die cut machines, and a new product that is a very portable scanner and printer in one, called Flip-Pal by Rocky Mountain Ventures Company.  It is perfect for mobile scanning and easy sharing for memory keepers like us.

Flower Soft now has an ultra fine product that is remarkable.

For those looking for those hard to find boys line, they are available even more this season; and if you are seeking paper lines with the kitchen motifs there were many paper lines with embellishments….recipes books for Christmas, crafters!

Seeing and ordering new products was an awesome experience. The CHA reporting with a run down of the new and exciting products coming to the heART of Scrapbooking and the happenings of CHA will continue on Debby’s Dare starting Monday with new pictures of inspiration and tales from CHA.

Thank you, Sudie, for your awesome reporting of the happenings at CHA. It’s been a real pleasure working with you through this adventure.
