If I Had A Hammer

Have you ever heard the expression “you are limited only by your imagination?”

When I heard about this stamp maker, that expression came to my mind.

With Teresa Collins stamp machine, you can create your own stamps in just five minutes.  Just that easy.  (More details on Teresa Collins’ blog. )

Even Teresa says, “limitless creativity” with the stamp maker.

Now to me, that sounds like heaven. But it may not be for everyone.

Well, the machine does come with some designs from Teresa Collins that would make any memory keeper happy.

But, you may be interested in some ideas on what designs would be possible.

So, I asked some of my creative friends a burning question. “If you had a Teresa Collins Stamp maker machine from Photogentric, what is the first stamp you would create?”

As I listened to their answers, I had a burning desire to create some stamps of my own. Their ideas were too good not to share.

Susan Gray I want to perfect ticket stamp
Mary Gibson I want a stamp that says Hugs
Linda Auclair I’d have my youngest daughter draw her “patented” kitty face, and my older daughter do on of her horses – I know their artistic styles will continue to evolve, but would love to freeze their art in time via some stamps!
Marcy P Oh wow, the options! I’d love one of our homeschool logo first.
Amy Bender My dragonfly.
Lisa Pace It would certainly be something with a vintage flair.
Sonda My biz logo. Really need someone to do that for me.
Mandie I would make a stamp of my daughter’s handwriting. She is just learning to write and I love it!!
Jen M My daughters handprints. and maybe turned into a necklace
Sandy H. I would like to make more sentiments, maybe scripture.
Meghan R. I’d make a stamp of the logo for our Great American Bake sale team :)
Tammy Tutterow Something from my vintage paper stash
Gretchen My children’s signature. I think their written names would be awesome!
Rachel Carlson A cupcake
Laura Casey A chocolate lab, like my Riley
Charity A cool background stamp
Debby Lewis A double stamp
Amy Sprague I would make favorite journal blocks, sayings, family names (tiny to stamp on pictures or below), things that would make my scrapbooking to go faster and more moblie so I don’t have to wait to use my computer
Jenny aka Craft Test Dummy My son’s monster drawing!

How great are those ideas!
Keep them coming. Feel free to share what you would create. You can leave a comment or email us at admin@unKit.com.

We’ll add your ideas to this post as we get them.

As far as my little diddy, If I Had A Hammer, I hear this in my head every time I think of this stamp making machine. Do you know this song?
If I had a hammer
I’d hammer in the morning
I’d hammer in the evening
All over this land
I’d hammer out danger
I’d hammer out a warning
I’d hammer out love between my brothers and my sisters
All over this land

So substitute “stamp” for the word “hammer.” Get it! If I had a Teresa Collins Stamp Maker machine, I would stamp out love between my brother and my sisters. all over this land. And that is the truth!

I’d love to make a stamp that says “Handcrafted Heartfelt by Dawn” and the year to put on back of cards that I make!

Looks like a lot of fun. It so reminds me of when I made “Creepy Crawlers” and “Creeple People” as a kid.
