Solution For Storing Pens

Every scrapbooker knows that the very core essentials to this craft is paper, glue, scissors and pens. These four elements, basic as they may be, dominate most of the message board chatter. The question of storage of these items tops the list.

The topic of pen storage pops up from time to time. Many manufacturers recommend storing pens horizontally. This is to ensure even distribution of the ink to both ends.

I have been scrapbooking for some time now and have quite a collection of craft pens. They include brands like Tombow, Copic, American Crafts, Sakura and Creative Memories.

Today I stumbled across a little bin when shopping at Office Depot. My ongoing quest for the perfect storage for all of my pens may very well be over.
It is by Advantus, the same company that makes the Cropper Hopper. It caught my eye because of the tiniest picture with pens in it. I was so happy to find that my pens fit perfectly.

This solution offers easy access to them. Plus, I can easily see which pens I have. I can squeeze up to 35 pens in one bin. But will probably limit each tier to 30. So three tiers is almost 100 pens.

And at just $3.50 a bin, it works for me.

I think this solution for storing pens is going to work out brilliantly.

If you have a great storage solution for scrapbooking solutions, we would love to hear about it. Send us a shout at admin@unKit.com.
